A member of the German delegation in a newspaper interview says:- “Wo have done our best and offered our utmost farthing. The next move is with tj*s Allies, who imagine they are going to enforce the Paris sanctions, for which there is no justification. We bold now to the Versailles Treaty. wiih its penalties, m the event of cur failure to carry it out.”
