As a result of their trial at Liverpool, Kerr and M’Caughey. labourers, were found guilty of conspiring to murder police and setting fire to warehouses and tiinber yards in Liverpool and Bootle on November 28. They were sentenced to ten years’ penal servitude. Fowler was found guiltv to conspiracy to five warehouses, and was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment.
