Tlie conference of workers’ representatives on the Industrial Councils lor Government Departments, rejected the Government’s short-time proposals, and declared that the Government's action in putting the proposals into operation without consulting the councils was a violation of the principles on which the councils were founded. The conference recommended that all unions , should withdraw their representatives j from the industrial councils for Gor- | eminent Departments.
