The Mayor has taken the number or a motor-car which was drawn up oil the path leading from the road to the footpath in front of the Municipal Baths to-day. He will write to tho owner, pointing out that this thoughtless practice cutises much inconvenience to other people. t: If there is-no bylaw to prevent car 3 from blocking access to a footpath from the road.” the Mayor said to-day, “we will make one.” He has instructed the *™bc ’inspector to report as t-o the number of men required to efficiently patrol tho streets of the city and see that traffic by-laws are observed.
