DECLARATION BY OWNERS,
NO MOVE TILL ALT. DISPUTES OVERCOME.

The shipowners state that they bare decided to make a fight against what they term the ever-changing agreements asked for by the men. They pay even if the stewards' strike is settled the ships will again be held up because of the seamen f s and firemen's demands. The owners declare “that until all budding dispute® are overcome and there is a reasonable chance of giving the vessel* a long period of uninterrupted service there will be no move for a settlement on their part.
