iho Rev b. 1/, Vrost, preached at thft Lyttelton Methodist Church last night on the needs of the “ Save the Children Fund for Central Europe ° After the service a conference of the congregation was held to consider what should be done to assist the fund, and decided that a retiring collection should ho made on Sunday next,. September 29. The sum of £3O 10s was promised, several members speaking in support of the fund, and liberal donations were given.
