RESCUED FROM FIRE.
[Pbr Press Association-.] PALMERSTON N.. September ID. A four-roomed house, owned and occupied by Wilhelmma Schiruack ami eighty-three, was totally destroyed °bv are at 'one o’clock this morning. The outbreak was discovered by neighbours ' who rescued the occupant by breaking a window. She was severely burnt about the hock and hands and was removed t o> tho hospital. Tho cause of the faro is attributed 5 to a defective chimney.
