TO REMOVE TEA OR COFFEE STAINS FROM LINEN.
If the stain is fresh place the stained portion of tho cloth over a basin and pour boiling water through it until the stain disappears. If the stain is steeped in hob water it spreads, but by pouring the water through this is prevented. If the stain is old rub it with a little cut lemon and pour hot water through. Wash the fabric and put it in the air to dry. If the stain does not.disappear the first time the method should be repeated, and a little salt rubbed on tntn the lemon. • This method is not injurious, as is sometimes the case when using salts of lemon.
