TO ENAMEL A BATH.

If the enamel is cracked and much worn remove it hy tapping or scaling it off with a small hammer. Next soak and rub the hath with turpentine, to loosen the scales and thoroughly clean out all grit. Mix one, part of boiled oil and four parts of turpentine, and paint a thin coat of this all over the bath. "When dry paint over two or three coats of hath enamel, which can be bought in tins. Each coat must dry before applying the next. Another method of removing the old enamel is to dissolve equal parts of soda crystals and quicklime, in warm water and brush the enamel, with this repeatedly until it softens, when it may be easilv scraped off. Rinse off the soda with boiling water, then soak and rub the bath with turpentine and then clean it well.
