A NEW 80UTH WALES SCHEME. By Telegraph—Pieas Association—Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. SYDNEY, September 5. The Treasurer is considering a scheme ter State lotteries, to raise money for tecal loans. Consultations will be similar to Tattersall’s, and prizes will be paid m Treasury bonds,, bearing interest at 6 per cent, payable at ten years. Each Consultation will be based on one hundred thousand shares at ss, and be conducted without recourse to horseracing. The first prize will be £SOOO, -he second £2OOO and the third £IOOO. In addition to its percentage as promoter, which is computed at £200,000 yearly, the Government by . paying prizes in bonds will obtain from subscribers a loan up to ono million annually. ‘ ’
