The Treasurer is considering a scheme ter State lotteries, to raise money for tecal loans. Consultations will be similar to Tattersall’s, and prizes will be paid m Treasury bonds,, bearing interest at 6 per cent, payable at ten years. Each Consultation will be based on one hundred thousand shares at ss, and be conducted without recourse to horseracing. The first prize will be £SOOO, -he second £2OOO and the third £IOOO.
