The golr tournament was continued to-day. If. Crosse (Napier) put up a phenomenal round playing J. Harold (Wanganui). In tho morning ho went round in 73, and even with plus 4 his handicap wag 3 up on bogey. A ten match between Eapi Tareha (Napier) and Collin3 (Vvuirarapa) ended in a win for the former, 2 up and 1 to play. In the nemi-nnals, Goss beat Forbeß A and 15, and Tareha beat Crosse 3 and 1. The latter match was watched by a big "group of spectators. Tareha played superb golf, especially with the driver and cleek. Winning the first hole, ha kept tho tsc all the way, being 1 up at tho turn. Here he registered somo phenomenal drives, and had Crosso pressing to keep within distance. 3. Goss (Wanganui) meets Tareha in the final over thirty-six holes to-m6rrow. A four-ball bogey wa/won by H. Hutchison and AV. Shaug, 7 up. Kapi Tareha and Dawgou (Hutt), 6 up, were second.
