HOME AND HOSTEL.

to THE EDITOB. Sir,—l have road with great interest tho splendid articles you have published in your paper of late. T think that if the general public were to interest themselves more in facts than in hearsay, the necessity of a home and hostel would bo much more keenly felt. If more people visited the Chalmers Ward they would have no difficulty in ascertaining the views of tho boys, which have been forcibly expressed upon more than one occasion. Surely it is our duty to soo that every disabled man should lie properly provided for, and a homo mid hostel are indispensable in such rases. Where are tho many willing workers and kind sympathisers of 1914-1918? Tim boys need our sympathy and gratitude—not charity or pity—more than ever.—l am, etc., FOX TROT.
