PREHISTORIC SPREYDON.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—The excellent qualities of the long famous Sproydon Borough Council need hardly be enlarged upon. But ono matter in connection with that semi-civilised borough requires immediate attention. After many years have elapsed the Borough Council has at Inst been rash enough to permit the establishment of a sewerage system. When this important undertaking will be put into action and finally completed is a matter for speculation. Meanwhile, however, the borough residents are put to serious inconvenience. For some inexplicable reason the council cends round its sanitary men (to certain quarters at least) once in three weeks; and ample proof can bo produced to verify this statement. The Health Department would find something to report upon if they made a tour of inspection in the vicinity of Sprcydon.—l am, etc., BCIOO4. P.S—The non-installation of electrio light throughout .tho borough of Sprcydon is perhaps pardonable.' But (here can bo no excuse in not benefiting the borough with gas (even for cooking purposes), which may well uo diverted from tho Sproydon Council Chambers.
