An armed party ambushed six soldiers and four policemen at Eraly, near Tipperary; A fierce duel lasted an hour, during which a, train arrived, jiiid tho passengers watched tho amazing conflict. The raiders surrounded the patrol, capturing eight, oke of whom was wounded. Tliev were subsequently released, the raiders departing in two motor-cars. They seised all the arms. Armed men, riding in motor-cars, kidnapped five_ men at Clones. The men were belSeved to have worked trains after the former ■ drivers had been dismissed for refusing to carry munitions. There were several other attacks troin ambushes. A constable was shot dead at Foynes, and another was critically wounded at Ballinsloo. DUBLIN POST OFFICE RAIDED. An»ti»li«.n ud N.Z. C»hl. AweeiiUoa.
