FIXING THE PRICES. BOARD OF TRADE'S OPERATIONS. The Board of Trade has concluded its conferences with Canterbury millers as to the prices of flour in view of the prices the. Government is paying for this season's wheat. The board has fixed upon certain prices. These will be submitted to the Government for approval before thev are announced-To-day the hoard had a conference with bakers, representing all parts of the Dominion, as to the prices for bread in accordance, with the changed prices of wheat and flour. The firms representing the bakers wore Messrs E. C. Boon and Co. (Christchurch), Al'Gregor and Logan (Auckland), Clegg (Wellington) and AA’liito (Dunedin). The board now is investigating statements made by the bakers. There will bo another conference with them on Alonday.
