+. FEABS OP A GLUT. [From; Ous CoRREsro.NBKNrVI PALMERSTON N., February 2. Representatives of the amalgamated freezing companies and farmers mot here tonight. Tho principal speakers were, Messrs Poison and Hugh Bnrrell. The points emphasised were that tha Home markets arc glutted with meat and local growers will be unable, to get carcases away until tho Imperial supplies has boon cleared. This means a complete glut and a serious outlook. It was resolved that the Government bo .asked if it is intended to send ths Commission appointed by the Dominion Conference of the Farmers' Union and the Sheepfarmers' Federation Home, umi if not why not.
