BAKERS' EXHIBITION.
THE L!3T OF AWARDS, The exhibition on Friday last of various products of tho art of the baker and pastrycook in the Wellington Town Hall attracted much attention. Mr 11. Murdoch, Napier, von tho competition lor the best birthday cake, and also took first prize for tho host decorated gateaux. r ihc first prize in pined commercia] cake went to Mr W. J, Thom, of Wellington. Tho championship for most points in bread was won by Mr 1 • Dunn, ot Cliristchurchj who also carried off the cup presented by the Dominion Compressed Yeast Company, i he awards were:—
