WELLINGTON LADIES’ CHAMPIONSHIP. [P*e Press Association.] WELLINGTON, October 29. The first round of the Wellington provincial ladies’ golf, championship was played to-day. The outstanding feature of the meeting was the defeat of Miss Gambrill, who was runner-up in Auckland for the ladies’ championship. The victor in this match was Miss Anderson, who played a capital game.
