Professor Voronoff, writing in Le Journal.'' in connection with his recent work respecting the grafting of glands, says that the secretions of certain glands hvo for three hours after tho death of the body. Professor Voronofl advocates the removal of such glands from healthy persons accidentally killed, for grafting into persons suffering Imm an illness which the grafting of new glands would remove. Ho mentions that such glands can N be conserved for a considerable time in cold storage. (A recent Paris message stated that Professor Voronoff claimed that intestinal glands grafted into aged goats renewed their youth and vigour, and that a similar grafting would prolong human liio. A subsequent message stated that the ."surgical Oonterenee discussed Professor Voronolf’s experiments. Voronoff declared: We aro coming to the realisation of the dream of scientists m all ages, namely, tho prolongation of life with the restoration of youth at the approach of age.” Professor Voronoff claimed that 'old goats, after the grafting of new intestinal glands, frisked like kids, any added that ho had already succeeded in grafting monkeys’ glands upon buman beings.)
