LADY DIANA COOPER.

THIGH BROKEN IN FALL THROUGH SKYLIGHT. Lady Diana Cooper, better known as Lady Diana Manners, youngest daughter of the Duke of Rutland, met with a serious accident recently while watching a fireworks display in Hyde Park. With a party of friends Lady Diana .went after dinner to 6, Grsen Street, to witness the display from a convenient roof, and in the darkness, stepped through a skylight, falling twenty feet to the floor below. She was in groat pain, and on medical assistance' being summoned it was found that she was suffering from a fractured thigh. On inquiry next day it was stated that she was progressing as favourably as could be expected. This is the second accident that Lady Diana (who was married only six weeks ago to Mr Duff Cooper) hss sustained in the month of July. In July, 1915, she fractured a leg.
