An nnuenal procedure was ordered by Mr S. E McCarthy, S.M., at tho Magistrate’s Court to-day. when issuing a prohibition order against a man. It was* stated by the appellant that the defendant waa in the habit of going to chemists on Sunday and purchasing methylated spirits to satisfy his craving. The Magistrate prohibited the. defendant for twelve months and ordered copies of the order to" be sent to all the local chemists.
