DARFIELD-KIMBERLEY PLUNKET SOCIETY.

ANNUAL MEETING

The annual meeting of the DarfieldKimberley Plimket Society was held in the Dar field Memorial Hall on Thursday, Airs H. A. Knight presiding over a good attendance. The annual report contained, a review of the work of the branch and showed that for the period ended Alarch 31, 1919, 257 adults, 187 children and 26 new babies had visited the rooms on Nurses’ Day, and the nurse had paid nine visits to homes in the district. Keen interest was taken in the Plunket work, and it. was very well supported- The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £8 6s Old, and it was stated that there were fourteen yearly subscribers. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. Mrs James Reid proposed, and Airs W. Ede seconded, the following motion:— “That District Nurse Alackio be accorded a special vote of thanks for her conscientious and untiring efforts in the interests of the Plimket Society.” Carried unanimously. The election of officers resulted as follows-Patron, Dr •L H. Simpson; president, Airs H. A. Knight; vice-president. Airs R.. Reid; honorary secretary, Airs L. R- Ellis; treasurer, Mrs Knight: committee, Airs J. Reid, Airs D. Gillanders, Airs T. Westwood, Airs J. Narbey, Airs J- Redfern, Airs C. Jarman. Airs A. Robinson, Mrs W. Ede, Airs AY. Alanson, Airs AAL Bedford and Airs H. M’Clelland. A vote of thanks was passed to all those who had supported the branch.
