WELLINGTON MODERATOR’S STATEMENT. (Special to the ■’‘Star.”) WELLINGTON. August 13. * At n meeting pf the Wellington Presbytery, when the Defence Ministers proposal to have four months’ training ni camp for youths was unanimously condemned, the Moderator, the Rev J. H. Mackenzie, said:—“We have created a military caste and a military caste is going to _defend what is its vested interest. We had an example of that this afternoon. At a meeting of the Chaplains’ Committee it was proposed to demobilise all chaplains in the camps, but now we are likely fco )nvl> one granted representing the Anglicans' Methodists and Presbyterians.
