A RECIPE WANTED.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—-Gan any of your readers inform me how to make briquettes out of coal dust? Two bags of municipal coal (P) have been delivered to me, hence the reason for my enquiry. The coal (I got the name from the receipt) • has been passed through the riddle, it has also had th© garden rake put through it, but no “ nuts ” have come to light. However, there are still the colander, the pepper-pot and the jelly-bag to be tried, so perhaps I have spoken too soon. Meantime, if some kind Samaritan will answer my question I will, not have lived in vain, but I wain him that his reply will deprive our cat of a nice soft bed.—l am. etc., NOT DOWNHEARTED.
