WOOL SALES.
Messrs Daig&ty and Company, Limited. Umstchuion, hare received the following cable message from their London Office, dated July 25:—W00l sales closed firm. As compared with last sales’ closing rates good to fine quality Merino wools are 10 per cent, lower, averago Merino wools are 10 per cent lower, inferior and faulty Merino wools are 5 per cent to 10 per cent lower. Pine quality Cross-bred wools are 6 per cent lower and medium and coarse quality Cross-bred wools ore 5 per cent to 10 per cent lower. Export' buying was limited. Prance bought 30,000 bales, Belgium 17,000, Canada 4000 .and Italy 3000. Belgian and French buyers were operating freely. The next wool sales open on August 11, when the probable quantity to be offered will be about 70,000 bal.es and on this occasion neutrals, United States and Japan will bo allowed to participate.
