GENERAL SERVICE MEDAL.
RIBAND NOW BEING WORN.
The riband of the new general service medal is now being worn by a number bf military officers in Christchurch, but as only small supplies bare been received uj> to date, it is very difficult to obtain.
The riband is of attractive design consisting of a wide Orange centre* watered, with stripes of, white and black on each side, and with borders or roval blue. It is to be worn next in order to the riband of the 1914-15 , The . which will be issued shortly, will be in silver and will be granted to all ranks, who either served m a, theatre of war or duty, or who left their places of residence and rendered unproved service overseas, other than dividing different parts of p-, Kingdom, between August o, 1914, and November 11, 1918.
