At tho instance of Mr Lloyd George overtures were made to Koltchak that the British troops be gradually withdrawn from Russia, but volunteers allowed to remain. The new treaty with Poland guarantees language and religious and educational liberties to the minorities included in the new kingdom, specially the Jews, whose future had given the Allies anxiety.
