REPATRIATION.

Tho Canterbury District Repatriation Board met last night; present—Messrs A. W. Jamieson (chairman), H. J. S. Goodman, E. Leadley, C. H. Hewlett, D. Jones, P. T. Eldridge, F. W. Hobbs, W. Goss, P, Davidson, A. J. Clarke, A. P. Drayton, J. D. Million and N. B. M'Callum. Mr Hewlett, for the Employment Committee, reported that ninety-two returned soldiers stil! were, unemployed. 'The employment officer was doing good wort;. The Sustenance Committee and other committees reported on departmental work. It was decided that Messrs Eldridgo and Hewlett should wait on tho City Council to ascertain if returned soldiers could bo employed at the planting on the municipal reservo at Butwood.
