FIRE IN CASHEL STREET.

,— * GOOD SAVE EFFECTED. At half-past one this morning a lire broke out in the office of Mr 11. P. Jameson, agent for typewriters and motor accessories, at 196, Cashel Street. Tho brigade turned out promptly, and extinguished the fire before it could spread to any other part of the building. Mr Jameson stated to-day that he •bad fto idea, as to the origin of the outbreak, and he could not yet estimate the extent of the damage. Ho thought the fire had started in some cases of motor accessories stored in tho comer of a. small room behind the office. Tho hre had practically cleaned out tho room in which it started, a number of motor accessories being destroyed, nnd a partition was partially burnt'through, Tho office had been practicallv untouched. The office and contents were insured for £2OO in the Alliance Office. The building is owned by the Denrslcy Trust, and is occupied bv several tenants, including Wright, Stephenson nnd Co. The fire and damage were Confined to Mr Jameson’s offices.
