Mr IT, Hunter will leave Christchurch this evening to attend a meeting of the transport workers’ advisory hoard, at 2 p.m. in Wellington tomorrow. He is not sure when he will be back. Mrs A. Rose, of tho Cafe do Paris Hotel, who was injured in a motor mishap at Sclwyn nuts yesterday, is progressing slowly. She is suffering from severe bruises and shock. Great sympathy is felt for Mrs Rose, who was one of the most active helpers during the epidemic. An old man who was found in an unconscious state in Fitzgerald Avenue last evening was, when taken to tho Police Station, ordered to bo sent to the Hospital, where ho was found to be suffering from concussion of the brain.
