OBITUARY.

FATHER. AUGUSTINE KEOGE. [Pee Press Association.] HASTINGS, August 14. The death is announced of the Father Augustine Keogh, S.M., 8.A., after a long illness. He was born in Dublin in 1858 and was one of the best known and most popular priests of the Catholic Church in the Dominion. From 1901 to 1909 he was rector of St Patrick's College. Wellington, and during that time 400 boys enjoyed the privilege of his direction. Succeeding Dean Smyth in 1909. he took charge of the Hastings parish, and administered here until 1915, when he again joined the staff of St Patrick's College. His funeral will take place at Hastings on Thursday.
