THE STORM.
STRONG WIND AND CLOUDS OF DUST.
Following on a very calm and. pleasant morning, a storm suddenly sprang up at about eleven o'clock to-day. Banks of black clouds could bo seen gathering in tho south-west and a stcrm was predicted. About twenty minutes later the calm was broken by heavy gusts of wind, which increased in velocity and clouds of dust were raised. In parts of the city tho dust was so thick that the traffic camo to a standstill. About twelve o'clock rain commenced to fall and came down rather steadily for a time. As yot no damage Ls reported.
