The day's flying finally resulted in six and a haif tons of "bombs being dropped in enemy territory. Fifteen German machines were brought down, and twelve of ours are missing. There was strong fighting for tho possession of a mine crater eastward of Gvinchy and Le Basse. We established ourselves in the crater.
