ALLIED CONFERENCES TO BE HELD SHORTLY. MORE AGGRESSIVE NAVAL ACTION PROPOSED, SIR DOUGLAS HAIG REPORTS A SLIGHT SET-BACK FOR THE BRITISH FORCES AT ONE POINT ON THE FLANDERS FRONT. BRITISH AVIATORS DID GOOD WORK IN BOMBDROPPING. FIFTEEN GERMAN AIRCRAFT WERE BROUGHT DOWN; TWELVE BRITISH MACHINES ARE MISSING.
