STYX GUN CLUB.

■ * The Styx G-un Club held an invitation handicap sweepstake for £l2, at sixteen sparrows, on the club's ground, Harewood Road, on Saturday. Tho weather was very pleasant, there wa.s a. large- gathering of shooters and spectators. The results are as follow: "\V. Peck (18yds), IjS birds; J. Tulett (18 yds), 15 birds; S. Watson (-21 yds), J. Cains (18yds), F. Preece (-21 yds) and T. Prebbla (18yds), each 14 birds; C. Delauiain (18yds), W. Chisnall (18yds) and L. Mekrtens flßyds), each 13 birds; N. Donald 20yds) D. Dennehy (18yds) and 8. Noate (17yds), each 12 birds; J. Cairns (22yds) and E. Smith (19yds), each 11 birds; E. Tiach (19yds), J. SfcUlinqr (18yds), each 10 birds. W. Reed (22yds), Q. L. Winger (18yds), G. Heaven (20yds), and F. TmsfioU (23yds) retired. The first prize wis w«n by Peck, and the Becond by Tuiett. r bu<s third prize •was divided between Watson, Cairns, Preece ajid Prebble. A second handicap sweepstake, at six 6pirrows, was also,fired.
