Russell gave notice of I k intention to introduce the River Boards Bill. WAR REGULATIONS. Mr Webb asked leave to introduce the War Regulations Amendment Bill. On a division, leave to introduce the Bill was refused by 34 to lU. ARBITRATION. The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act Amendment Bill (Mr Walker) was introduced and read a first time. QUESTIONS. In answer to questions Ministers said:— That so long as naturalised British subjects gave no indication of dislojalty the conditions of naturalisation must be observed in New Zealand as in otfoeT parts of the Empire.
