MAXIMILIAN HARD-EN'S DECLARATION. ALSACE-LORRAINE MUST BE GIVEN UP. "TO ELIMINATE FUTURE WARS." Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received August 11, 10 a.in.) WASHINGTON, August 10. Official information is to hand that Maximilian Harden wrote in the last issue of the "Zukunft":— " Alsace aud Lorraine, must be restored to France and Trent and Trieste to Italy. In order to eliminate future wars peace must he concluded on the basis of President Wilson's declaration of the rights of nations."
