TO THE Kill TOR. Sir,---The despicable practice of sending Avhite feathers through the post is still being followed in some quarters. This morning a well known Christchurch resident received three of these. The family consists of three sons only, the eldest'of Avhom left with the Fourth Reinforcements and served through Gallipoli and is still serving abroad. Tho father left with the Tenth Reinforcements, and after sixteen months' active service has just returned, invalided, after a severe illness, and has boon classed by a Medical Board as unfit for further active service. He also served in the Boer war for two and a half years, and is now well over military age. The two remaining boys botlt went into camp last March ami Avero discharged by a Medical Board as unfit. If the "hero" who sent the feathers would like to know the reason he can find out on application. T avouder what record his family can show?
