The Press Bureau states:—The Food Controller announces that the maximum prices for lh r o cattle for army consumption are to be as follow : September, 74s per cwt; October, 72s per cwt; November and December, 67s per cwt; January, 60s per cwt. Maxima will be fixed, and corresponding steps will bo taken to control butchers' profits. The prico of flour will be standardised, to enable bread to be sold, at Od a quartern loaf.
