ANOTHER. CHRISTCHURCH -MAN NAMED. Sirs E. Muirson, of 468 .St Asaph Street, Ckristchurch, has received the following comunication from the Commonwealth Department of Defence,* dated Melbourne, July 10: " I have much pleasure in forwarding hereunder copy of extract from Second Supplement, No. 29890, to thd London Gazette, dated January 2, 1917, relating to the conspicuous services rendered by your son, Captain K. Muirson, 15th Machine Gun Company:— '* Mentioned in despatches: The following despatch has been received by the Secretary of State for War from General Sir Douglas Haig, G.C.8., Commander-in-Chief of the British Armies in France:—l have the honour to submit the nan\e of the undermentioned officer serving under my command, whose'distinguished services and devotion to duty I consider deserving of special mention: Captain Kenneth Muirson.'
