SECOND DIVISION LEAGUE.
DIMPUTATION TO MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT. [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, July 20. Delegates from the conference of i!he Second Division League Avaited on members of Parliament to-day, and placed before them the resolution passed by the conference regarding the pay and pensions of soldiers. *About fifty members wr-ro present, and .the meeting was presided over by Mr T. M. Wilford, M.P. It was decided that Messrs D. H. Guthrie, M.P., and G. AY. Forbes, M.P., should bo the permanent channels of communication between the league and members of Parliament, and that tho Prime Minister, the Minister of Finance and tho Minister of Defence bo asked to meet members of Parliament and tlio league .at the round tablo conference. Beforo concluding, the president of tlio league said: "We are prepared to go to the bitter end in this struggle, and ! will undertake to have a motion passed to that effect."
