THE RUSSIAN OFFENSIVE. ENEMY REPULSED NEAR NOVITZA. Australian and N.Z. Cablo Association and Beuter. LONDON, July 18. A wireless Russian official message says—There was intense enemy artillery fire in the region of l'otutory, south of Brzezany and near Halicz. The enemy attacked south of Novitza and occupied a. height. Our counter-attack reoccupied the height. KRONSTADT TROOJS GIVE TROUBLE.
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. PETROGIIAD, July 19. A thousand Kronstadters are terrorising Petrograd and there lias been much mixed fighting. Decisive, fighting between the local troops and the mutineers is imminent. A hundred were wounded and a number were killed on Wednesday.

LONDON, July 18
A wireless German official message states: —There is increased fighting oh the R.iga front and south of livinsk and Smorgon. Strong artillery fire is reported at Brzezany. We captured in the Carpathians heights east of the Lomnitza and repulsed counter-attacks. We forced back the Russans on the Lomnitza line. Artillery firo is moro active in the Susita Valley and along the Putna and Sereth.
ENEMY HEAVILY REPULSED. United Service. WASHINGTON, July 19. The Russian Embassy states that it has received a cablegram announcing that heavy German attacks on Riga were repulsed with great Teuton losses.
