In giving judgment to-day in tho case of seventeen gasworks stokers charged with taking part in a seditious strike, Mr M'Carthy. S.M.. found that the men wero liable under the war regulations and coTtyicted them., but as the offence .under, a bona fide belief that they were acting legally the ends of"justfce"would be best served by giving them one week in which to consider their position.
