The "Morning Post's" Tientsin correspondent states that the casualties at Pekiu include two American civilians.
The Republican flag is flying over the Forbidden City.
Chang-Hsun\s forces are surrendering .and are being disarmed and sent to Msuchauff.
Tuan-chi-jin has arrived at Pokin and Id.vun-hung has reftirncd to his own residence.
Chinese newspapers report that the Deutsche Rank financed Chang-Hfinn and that tlio latter released the Germans interned in the western hills, some of whom fought on Chang-Hsun's side, particularly assisting in the <i rti! - levy.
Other newspaper advices from Pokin state that the majority of tlio dip)e>matists protested against Chang-Hsun's transfer to the (ierman barracks on the ground that he had forfeited the. right to be treated as a political offender.
