The death is anno-mced of Dr William Salmond, Emeritus Professor of Mental and Moral Philosophy at the Otago University, aged eighty-two years. fine lato Dr William Salmond was born in Edinburgh on February 9,1835,and was educated at Hcriot's Hospital, the Edinburgh High School, the University of Edinburgh and at the Berlin University.
