C. Bowen, Auckland Mountj ed Rifles, has been, transferred to Angora- „ ! ' 1 ho following further members or tn-* Xew Zealand Expeditionary Force have now been repotted to be prisoners of A var in Germany :-- . IM6S4 Lance-Corporai John Matlueson Hall, 2nd Ota go Infantry Battalion, Dnhooii. 26-632 Private Robert lyrell btratj hern, 2nd I Did men. ! Orders for bread (double supply) have I been despatched to the Bureau do Se~ I oours at. Berne; and other lortd, as well j as clothing and tohaceo, will bo de--1 spatchod as soon as possible. ! A considerable number of acknowledgments has come to hand within the last" fortnight from prisoners of war in Germany, and. not many parcels now remain unacknowledged. A very grateful letter lias been received from Corporal W. H. Banks (6-2061), Ist Canterbury Infantry Regiment, and others have written in the same terms. Corporal Banks is still .in hospital, and so is 12-2789 Private John Morrison,'lst Auckland Infantry Battalion; but 6-3260 Private Charles Bromley and j 6-34.43 Private Charles Bichaivlson are now apparently convalescent. No communications have yet been received from 23-2170 Private James Carran, 2nd Otago Infantry Battalion, and 7-832 Private Edwin Cross, 2nd Canterbury Infantry Battalion, who are both believed to be in hospital, nor from 10-3294 Private William Ernest flinch. 2nd Wellington Infantry V*io * interned ***" '^ulm«B..
