SCHOOL COMMITTEES.
BURWOOD. The Bunvood School Committee met on Friday, all the members being present. The secretary reported an expenditure of £o 7s 9d, and a balance of £l2 2s fid. Account? amounting ti. £6 Ms 2d were- passed for payment. The tei-chcr's report showed art improvement in the roll, an increase of one boy and two girls, the roll now being 124, and the average attendance 105.4. The Inspector's report on the last ex.inrnation was rend, and was considered highly satisfactory. It was rc-olved that the fecre'ary should writs to the head 'eacher. thanking him and his staff for the excellent work done during the past yc-ar, as revealed by the examination.
