Hens are much in demand, and not enough are coming forward to prevent abnormal prices. Table chickens! xeaused 5s 6d to 9a 7d, ducks 7a to lis, hens 3s to 6s 9d, pullets 3s 6d to 10s 3d, geese 7s to 10s 3d, turkey hens 7s to 14a 6d, turkey gobblers 13s to 37s 6d, all at per pair. EGGS. Owing to the cold and changeable weather there has been a slight decline in the supply of eggs, while Ihc demand is very" firm. Prices have naturally hardened.
