"LIONS AT LARGE."
PRAISE FOR ANZACS. IN LINE WITH LONDONERS. Australian and JT.Z. Cablo Association. (Received July 20, 11.40 a.m.) LONDON, July 28. An officer of one of the London regiments, who was wounded at Pozieres, says:— "The Anzacs bore the brunt of the gruelling, but we were alivays in line with them. They were like Hons at large, and revelled in the fray. The great fellows' example spurred us on at even' turn even in the face of the deadliest machine-gun fire. " It was a sight to stir the blood to soe the Anzacs and Londoners strmd up to the Kaiser's elite."
