Duncan M'Callurn, a boy, was fined os and costs for cycling; without a light. Herbert Cook was fined 5s and costs for motoring ovei the railway crossing at Sockburn while a train was approaching. D. Lennox, a youth, was fined 10s and costs for driving a mob of sheep over the railway crossing az Islington while a train was approaching. Evidence was given that an engine had run into the sheep on the crossing.
